Michael Green Mediation can enhance your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and facilitate management reporting, dispute resolution and mediation. Mediation is an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) technique widely used by industry and government for the systematic resolution of disputes. It has been endorsed by many goverments and law societies all over the world. It is now a common tool for settling disputes both in separated and intact families.
For employers
As an employer, you will experience disputes and conflict in your workplace at times. You will become aware of absenteeism and loss of productivity from workers in dispute or going through separation and divorce or other personal problems. Our Life Skills and Mediation Services can assist you to resolve such issues in a cost effective way.
Michael Green Mediation can assist you by firstly investigating the situation and compiling a report with recommended courses of action to resolve the dispute or family issue. Then by using ADR techniques, we can assist the parties to reach an agreement which meets their needs. There is no winner and loser. They feel satisfied that they have been heard and that they have been part of the solution. This is a much quicker process than the legal system and has the advantage of significant cost saving. You may consider asking your employees to attend information sessions and in some cases mediation, in order to try and resolve the situation before it becomes an OH&S risk.
For employees
We can assist employees to resolve their separation and divorce issues using a better method than simply going to lawyers and then to Court to fight a lengthy and costly battle. Our Mediation Services can resolve issues more quickly and with better outcomes for the parties and their children. This means that full productivity returns more quickly for these employees with resulting lower absenteeism. This can also have a positive influence on workplace OH&S risk.
We offer Life Skills programs, for both men and women, to assist them in moving ahead with their lives following separation and divorce. These programs will be provide them with strategies, information and support which they can use to move forward to a healthy and happy future.
