Praise from Family Court Judge
At a Family Court Self Represented Litigants Workshop held in Parramatta on Friday 18th June 2004, his Honour Justice Faulks remarked:
"It is proposed that mediation operations be qualified/certified and mandatory prior to case lodgement. Michael Green Mediation is an example of a very mature operation and mediators like this are few and far between."

The position of grandparents after the divorce of their children was highlighted this week by the report of the bi-partisan
Family and Community Affairs Committee into child custody. It urged amendments to the Family Law Act, suggesting that
sections of the act dealing with residence and contact orders specifically mention grandparents.

- Custody Inquiry On the 31st of December 2003 the Standing Committee on Family and Community Affairs Inquiry into child custody arrangements in the event of family separation made it's report to the Australian Parliament with recommendations for significant changes to the Australian Family Law system.
- Cost of Divorce
Marriage breakdowns may be costing Australian taxpayers at least $3.6 billion a year in social security payments, court and
other costs but the long-term social cost is far more damaging, say family study experts.
