Michael Green Mediation Charges
- Coaching session
- $150 ($100 if unemployed)
- Mediation
- $990 incl GST for session less than 3 hours
- $1320 incl GST for session in excess of 3 hours
- Preparatory work
- $220 incl GST per hour
Let's look at a typical settlement scenario:
- Party telephones for information
- No charge
- Each party attends for coaching session
- $150 each
- Mediation session (say, 6 hours)
- $1320 (for both parties)
- Final session to draft parenting plan (say, 2 hours)
- $990 (for both parties)
- Total
- $2610 (for both parties)
Let's say you need an hour's legal advice ($500) before you come to mediation. You are still spending less than $2000 each for a satisfactory result, reached in only a few weeks. Ask your friends how much money and time it cost them to do it the 'legal' way? You'll be amazed!
